TDM

It's been a while since I've really been able to blog and that's all down to lack of time. Towards the end of last year, as part of the reorganisation of JBoss under Red Hat I was made Technical Development Manager of our SOA platform. What that basically means is that I'm in charge of the technical direction, development and productisation of everything SOA within the company. I went from managing 2 groups to 7 over night, with all that entails. Pretty interesting, I have to say, but definitely a time sink!

Thanks Mic. Maybe I should move to Oz: I hear the days are longer there ;-)

Plenty of room in this country for sure !
Yes, days are the perfect length - no need for daylight savings time.

Today is a lovely "autumn" day, 26 degrees, fresh breeze blowing. Sometimes in winter it can get down to almost 20 degrees (Celcius !) in which case we break out the coats. At this rate, I may start using a bit of hot water in the shower again.

When I read "TDM" I read "Time Division Multiplexing" - which, considering your role, actually isn't too far from the truth !

Mic, don't rub it in ;-) Anyway, I'm just about to vanish off to Lanzarote for a week of SCUBA diving. Nice and warm there (I hope!)
